Transferring Songs From One Ipod To Another

Just wondering if it was possible to directly transfer all the songs from one of the new video Ipods to one from the last generation before the colour screen ones. If so what would be the easiest way to do this?

from this website, you cant even copy them back to your PC unless you use it as a portable storage device/HD

THis may be out of date though ?

All the stored audio files are hidden (Make them visible through Folder Options under Windows XP) when you access the iPod as a disk drive. They're stored in a seemingly random array of awkwardly named folders and it may well involve a lot of dragging and dropping but it certainly is possible to transfer music backwards from your iPod to a computer

YOU CAN GOOGLE FOR IPODRIP THIS IS A FREE UTILITY THAT RIPS YOUR IPOD BACK TO ITUNES. GREAT IF YOU HAVE A HARD DRIVE FAILURE.

YOU CAN THEN UPLOAD ONTO YOUR NEW IPOD.
