Hi

My current 500gb ssd is almost full so I want to get a 1 TB SSD and tranfer all my files over to it.

I'm looking at the Samsung 970Evo plus which i believe comes with it's own migration software.

Would this be the best way to move my OS? I'm happy to buy any decent software to make work easily.

Thanks

Thanks, just realised I've just got one M2 socket....doh.

That's fine - there are two options

1. Buy a USB NVME caddy, then use that to plug in the 2nd M2 and clone directly in Macrium

or

2.
- Create a backup image in Macrium, and store in on another drive (e.g. SATA or USB Hard drive)
- Create a bootable Macrium USB stick
- Shutdown, swap the M2 over
- Boot from the USB stick
- Restore the image from the hard drive to the new M2 drive
