Transformers Devastation

Has anyone bought this game? It seems a little expensive at £31 but has had some great reviews. TotalBiscuit gave it a decent review and seems to love it. I would like to see other peoples opinions on here. Maybe one for the sales?

Its a decent game and a wonderful throwback to the 80's (g1) transformers but I feel like for that price they are trying to get by on merit (nostalgia) more than anything and could had done a lot more with it

I bought it at full whack, partly for nostalgia, partly for the kids. It is a very typical Platinum Game, but with an amazing sense for the G1 series of transformers. Main campaign is reportedly VERY short (4 hours or so) but there is a lot of replay value given the combat engine/difficulty levels/ability to switch characters.

If you liked previous Platinum Games, and loved G1, you can't go far wrong here. Is it worth asking price? Only if you are going to play it through multiple times imo.
