I made a thread about trying to get one of these amazon rear view mirror style screen to work, that has a camera at the back of the van and one pointing to the front. Decided in the end I don't like this as it's too much in the way being where your rear view mirror normally goes, and i have sent it back.
I now want to invest in a proper stereo upgrade, that will give my van dab, as well as android auto, and front and rear camera.
My van is a transit custom 2019 and has just a single din analog radio.
I have seen most recommend the alpine halo as the best device, however I'm struggling to really see how good it is. For £800,it seems to come with some down sides, in particular there's no physical buttons! I hate the idea of driving and having nothing to feel if I want to change the station/volume.
But also, going from analog to digital radio, would the device be ready for this or would I need to upgrade the antenna in the van? And then do they need specific antennas or are digital antennas all usable with any dab radio?
Anyone know of a really good high quality stereo upgrade that has some sort of physical buttons and provides camera front and bakc with recording, dab radio, Android auto?
