The favourite Mac bit torrent client finally reaches 1.0. I know people have had trouble with some of the recent releases, so hopefully those issues are gone.

My favourite new feature is the ability to finally sort by "Activity" - so if you're seeding a load of torrents, you no longer have to scan through the list to see which ones are actively uploading. The new monochrome icons are a bit dubious but I usually have the toolbars hidden anyway.

All in all a nice open source project that I'm grateful for.

The time to quit is still noticeable but a lot less so than recent versions.

I never had speed problems with .9x versions - saw over 2 MBytes/s on nice torrents.

Seems best to have the automated port forwarding / UPnP feature on the router disabled anyway. Having it set up that any application, good or bad, can punch its way through the NAT firewall without any notification can't be good for security
