Transparency Help

Hi all,

not sure if this is the correct place, but I've got a logo for a website and I need to make the background transparent, how do I do this? I've not got a clue.

Hide the background layer so you just have the logo and then save as a png.

What trip means is we don't have enough info to tell you exactly how to achieve this.

Do you have a rasterised jpg? A vectored .eps?

If its just a flat jpg then you need to cut out the logo using a lasso tool or similar and save as a PNG with transparency.

Can also save as a gif (which are smaller files) but this is only recommended for flat logos i.e. no gradients etc

If you're saving as a png, make sure it's png 24 format.
