cant yuo just get a freeware icon maker and make an icon that is only the background colour which goes transparent on use?

there jsut did it. took me less then a minute.
http://www.icon-maker.com/ download that free trial thing, when it opens up a new template just save the one they have. its fully transparent. then change all yuor links to show that
