Transplanting Address book

Is there any way of finding and copying my old address book off my old hard drive onto my new machine? I've still to rebuild my old system but could do with getting it off the old drive in the meantime.

try searching the old drive for .wab files. i *think* that's what you want.

Depends on what program your addresses were stored in and on what OS?

Outlook?

Outlook Express?

etc etc....

I was using Outlook Express in my old setup. i've switched to Outlook now.

You may then be able to import the addresses into Outlook Express on your new OS and then from there into Outlook.
