Hello!

Scenario is moving home. I've done it before with my 7 large frames but it's been a faff. So i am looking for a carry case to slide them all into.

I've browsed a few art supply places but they seem to be catered for just the print itself and not the frame...especially not 7 of them!

Any ideas?

Cheers

Sounds like you would need to make your own, doubt there is anything out their at a price you’d want to pay to use once.

We packed ours into boxes, if they are packed well and we’ll labeled they should be fine.

How large?

If they're 2m or thereabouts or less all you need is cardboard, bubblewrap, and clingfilm. Place a layer of cardboard, bubblewrap, or both between each frame and on the top and bottom (a sheet of plywood on the outside is even better for protection). Wrap the whole in clingfilm. Wrap the whole in bubblewrap and place in the shipping container.

They are A0 size and smaller.

Kinda looking just for an 'all in one carry case' solution really. :)

You could get a pelican style case big enough for them but like I said proper cases that size cost a fortune and not really cost effective to buy just to move once unless the pictures are particularly valuable. You are also then stuck with a huge box you don’t need at the other end.

A0 is about 85x119 cm, you can get strong boxes which are big though. Use bubble wrap and handle them carefully and they will be fine.

Alternatively just take them to a relatives or friends just before moving day and pick them up the following day so you don’t have to deal with them on the day and you are concerned about damage.

You can get soft folios but a crate or t-frame/travel frame is what you'd typical ship art works in. Someone like Cadogan Tate will package and/or transport art work but there's plenty of others in the city.
