Transporting a Case

Since I'm moving in a week, I'll need to be taking my 600t with me. Problem is, weighs quite a bit and aside from just sucking it up and carrying it in my arms, does anyone have any tips for transporting a case safely?
Bit of a stupid question I know, but i'd just rather avoid damaging my system since I spent quite a bit on it.

Well driving over, so will keep it in the boot, not worried about that. But I'm gonna have to carry it around for a bit to get to my residence + something stupid like 10 flights of stairs (no elevator of course)

Will get hold of some bubble wrap then and take out my graphics card for the move then. Don't think I have the original box, so will go out on a hunt for a similar sized box.
