Transporting a cpu

I put the CPU in an anti-static bag and then wrap it in several layers of bubble wrap. Does the job and doesn't mean you have to find static safe safe foam.

I hope it is only Intel CPU's you ship.
The pins on an AMD CPU would be very bent without the foam and box protecting them.

I received an AMD CPU recently shipped in a jiffy bag that didn't survive the journey.

You can buy CPU boxes with foam for about £1 each on eBay. Did so for some CPUs I sent and the customers are happy with them!

I recently posted my old Athlon XP using 4 layers of corrugated card with the middle two having a CPU shaped hole cut into them. Buyer commented on how impressed he was with the packing (he'd been buying a few)
