Ok, i woke up today at about 12, was happily sitting there chatting to mates on MSN and what-not when BAM.

I turn to the right and i get this ridiculous pain in my neck and it's been getting worse ever since. Just had a bath to try and ease the pain, but that in itself was crazy-painful and it doesnt seem to be fixing itself.

Is it a trapped nerve? If so what the heck do i do, will it just fix itself or what?

The problem is, my doctor is 109 miles away at the moment. So i can't really go and see her easily.

:( :( :( - and repeat, for the last 4 hours.

What do i do?

I get that all the time mate, I think it's cramp, I often feel cramp coming on in my shoulder/neck but quickly move my head to stop it, I've never actually let the cramp set in which I imagine happened with you which is causing the pain, and although cramp only generally lasts a few minutes your muscles are probably still tight, You will be fine in a couple days.

BTW: No medical threads I dunno if this could be classed as one, see your doctor if it persists.

Back straight and regular breaks if you use the computer a lot, I dont think its a trapped nerve though! Being on the comp doesnt help either

Take ibuprofen if you wish to help relax the muscles. As I said before I had a muscle spasm across the top of my head for a couple of weeks and the doc prescribed me ultra strength ibuprofen..
