I suppose this is a kind of anti-popularity question, akin to "who is on your ignore list?" but with softer, more positive edges.

Your scenario : you're trapped on an island, not indefinitely, but you do, however, have to choose someone who you don't naturally gel with to be your sole companion for the duration of the stay. This person should be from the forums.

Without spending too much time discussing the negatives, what do you see as the positives you could pick up from the experience?

I'll add mine later if this gets any interest (also fully prepared for 10 pages of MAGNOLIA LOL ALL NEGATIVE U SUX comments so don't disappoint me guys, let's have it)

Oh damn your eyes, man! That's my first choice gone!

My second choice is Robbie G because the guy does seem to know a lot about plumbing and genuinely did help me out with a question I had. I was and still am thankful that he took the time to reply.

Even though I find we don't gel I think he'd be good value from a practical point of view and we could always laugh about his car if we were feeling a bit down. I joke (but no, I don't). No, really, I joke ;)

Oh God. Does that make me his bitch on the island? BRB - got to get dinner prepared for my man :p

As for people that I don't naturally get on with... well, I guess anybody that doesn't like me - so probably a few people here! :p

Probably Wicksta or Gambitt as they seem to have an objection to me. It would be nice to see what aspects of our lives are actively good and interested to see if we could develop a mutual understanding.

For instance, he's sat in a thousand cars so knows all about them.
