Treadmill Vibrations

Hi, we purchased a Peloton a month or so ago and have it in the upstairs bedroom - as it’s a 1920s house and quite spacious, we thought it would be fine

However, it’s a heavy bit of kit and the vibrations when in use are felt in the kitchen below with the doors particularly shaking

Can anyone recommend any form of vibration mat they’ve used with success in a similar situation ?

You can try buy the actual cushioned floor mats gyms use but like you said it's a heavy bit of kit upstairs so I don't think it will help too much.

Yeah, i'm not sure there's much that can be done. Potentially try and have it near a supporting wall to limit the "bounce" on the joists? Although that could open up another set of issues!

Maybe something like this under each leg?

Yes, have seen those pads, as well as 20mm deep rubber crumb matting, that I would hope could absorb some of the downward impact

I guess it's a case of trying
