Tree friendly GFX <£100

I'm currently running a 400w PSU and a GeForce 256mb 6800 GS.

I'm a huge gamer and to be honest, this card is holding me back and needs to be replaced. There are 2 requirements my replacement card needs to meet.

1. I am poor, therefore it must be cheap (£90 Budget)

2. I need a card with low power consumption. (Due to point 1, low bills, no need to replace PSU)

to me this looks like a winner, as its seems the most powerful within its price range and power requirement than even my 6800 gs.

can anyone recommend any other alternatives? that fall under £90 and require less than 400w

if u can save 20 £ more u can buy 5750 they have very low power consumption

Do you know how low the power consumption is, in comparison to the HD 4770?

It's just that the PSU calculator doesnt yet have the 5750's as a choice so I have no idea if it will push my consumption over the 400w threshold...

As above, if not the 4770 is great choice
5750 uses 114 idle and 210 load vs 143 idle and 216 load for 4770 in a test system

Those figures do not look right. Must be total system???

The 5750 is 86W at load and 16W at idle.

yeah they are total system draws sry, from techreports reviews, system was i7 965
