Hi I have 16GB of TeamGroup Xtream 16GB running at @ 2000 9-11-11-28-1T and am looking at my secondaries which are all at auto.

I understand that the tRFC can play quite a big part in the read speed of your RAM and it is set to 160 (via Auto). If this good average or bad?

Wondering if I should experiment knocking it down a little.

160 is ok actually for auto.

Try 124, 114,108, and 96 in that order and test for stability in between.

Your seconds on that board can probably go 5,7936,TRFC,5,25,5,7 or 8. 7 here will yield big improvements.

Thanks. Will take a look.

"5,7936,TRFC,5,25,5,7 or 8." - is there a typo in there?

Is it worth having a go with Rampage Tweak mode 2? Does that tighten up the secondaries automagically?

Tried as you said and so far no problems.
I only tested with Prime95 and then once I hit 96 I just set Rampage Tweak mode to 2 - which sets tRFC to 96 and tightens all other secondary too. Again Prime95 runs with no problems for 20mins.

I appreciate that MemTest maybe better, but I have no spare USB sticks to use, and no longer have a CD drive in my machine as you said "what's the point of a CD driver - you can't overclock it!" on another post to someone else! So I took it out and put a fan in its place in my HAF-X!!!!

Still dont understand this though "5,7936,TRFC,5,25,5,7 or 8."

P.S loving the efficencies. IBT 2 runs and I get 106.9 GFLOPS....before with just looser timings on the tRFC I get low 105. Almost an extra 2%.

Just for my reference it is currently with tweak mode 2 set to (via auto):

4,96,9,4,24,4,8

I'll have a look at tightening the write delay latency from 8->7 this weekend.

Seem to be having success with 4-96-9-4-20-4-7

Well it is prime stable and BF3 stable so far.

Primary are at stock 9-11-11-28-1T @2000 (it is rated for 2133)

not sure if these tighter timings require more volts, but it is at 1.55v
