Hi guys,

I do a lot of multitasking on my pc and i usually use a dual monitor setup, but i would like to go to three now. So, i was wondering if anyone couldhelp me build a rig, including monitors for £1300.

thanks

the graphics card has two dvi outputs and a mini display port output, so included a cable(mini display port to dvi), but got this funny feeling it needs to be powered special version.

Yep the one you (stulid) specified would never work alone

You need an active display port adapter which are hard to get hold of. Took me months and months. Eventually had to have one sent over by a mate in the US.

My suggestion is secure a source for this adapter before spending money out on 3 displays first. Unless you can afford to purchase monitors that support display port connections directly, therfore not needing this adapter. But they are more expensive

an example here

A passive Displayport to VGA works. I'm using a Dell one and it works well at 1920x1080 res. Hardly any difference with the other two connected via DVI.

Double dang !!!

this to a Dell monitor or non Dell?

Trust me the actual component list/setup, so as not to litter this thread, please?
