Wee bit of help needed please :)

i have 3 x gtx 580 and a 2600k in my system which im starting the process of watercooling this month.

I have already bought the waterblocks, from looking at other posts on the forum and other articles elsewhere i just seem to be confusing myself with what pump will be good enough to push it round and how much rad space i will need to keep it all cool

I was planning on one SR1 black ice 560 Rad would one of these be enough in suggested loop?

Also what pumps would you recommend?

any help much appreciated

Sounds like a very high end loop, so deserves a D5 pump :)

560 should be enough, but I'd imagine 3 580's can generate quite a bit of heat, so it wouldn't hurt to put an extra radiator in IMO.

What case are you planning to use?

I disagree:) mcp35x has more head so ought to be better suited to a loop with lots of blocks. Though you can't go wrong with either tbh.

case is the fractal define xl,and actually i seem to have miscalculated as it will only take a 480 rad along the bottom so i guess i could do that then a 120 at the top at the rear exhaust spot?

Thanks for the info guys ill have a look at them and make my choice, and ill stick a picture up when its all said and done!

I am using a XSPC 750 in a tri sli gtx680, CPU block and 2 rads - blackice extreme 240 and a 420. Seems to do the trick but your 580s will probably generate more heat than my 3 680s.

For separate pump/res setups a d5 would probably be a good option. If you want pump/res combo the XSPC 750 or the XSPC D5.

I'm using a dual loop in my xl now, 480 rad at bottom for the gtx 480 sli and a 240 in the roof for the cpu loop, I can tell you these kick out some heat and it was beneficial to separate them from the cpu, up to 15c lower on the cpu alone, I'm using an xspc dual bay dual loop reservoir a D5 pump for the sli and a 18w ddc for the cpu.
