Must admit, I completely forgot about this until I saw today's schedule. Can't really see Jonny getting the better of his brother but you never know. Hoping to see both on the podium. :)

Also, the GB women have real medal chances but it'll be hard for anyone to topple Gwen Jorgensen (USA). Anyone who watches the world triathlon series will know what a beast she is. :p

Men's race, 3pm, Thursday
Women's race, 3pm, Saturday

Thanks for the reminder, I'll be looking forward to both races. And you're right about the women - Gwen Jorgensen is pretty amazing but she has been beaten by a British woman not too long ago so there's a bit of hope there.

Our girls have to beat her up on the cycle leg, that's where we've beaten her in the past, general consensus is at a minimum they need more than 90 seconds on her at the start of the run, that's how they've beaten her this seasons World Tri series.

Have a nasty feeling neither of the Brownlees will podium this time, something just seems off with them, I know injuries have been a factor but they also seem to have lost that "Killer" drive they've had in the past. I'll be chuffed to be proven wrong though :)

Really looking forward to seeing how the Brownlee's do today, been looking forward to this for weeks. Could well be horrendous temps if its anything like the mid-30's from yesterday, so bike /run times are unlikely to be WR /OR times.

Gutted that it was scheduled for the morning local time

The Brownlees are definitely looking the best I've seen them all season, really aggressive with that cheeky smile they have that says to everyone "This isn't even hurting yet!" :D

Smashing this, lead is growing and growing over Mola! Can see some attacks coming in the last 2 laps on that uphill, although it's not really long enough to make big moves.
