Isolated tribe spotted in Brazil

The photos are being used to prove the tribe's existence

One of South America's few remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes has been spotted and photographed on the border between Brazil and Peru.

The Brazilian government says it took the images to prove the tribe exists and help protect its land.

The pictures, taken from an aeroplane, show red-painted tribe members brandishing bows and arrows.

For some reason I find this really interesting, I mean these people have had no contact with the outside world and have their own beliefs and way of life, untouched by fuel prices or industrialisation. They are so primative, they attempted to shot down the plane with spears and arrows!

I want my own tribe, it would be like some kind of strategy game or something and I could drop in different items and see how they react and use them, based on the fact that they have no idea what they are for.

Am I the only person to think that they look like Urak Hai from lord of the rings?

The Brazilian government is keen to avoid this, as it's happened in the past and the researchers have introduced germs which, whilst not affecting us, the tribes do not have immune systems to cope with.

It is fascinating.

They should send a biohazard equipped team in with full chemical suits....that would freak them out and they would think we are truley gods

We Joke about it, but no doubt that's what aliens would do if they came here!

"Hey, lets go freak out those humans again... fly over that pyramid thing over there while I hop out in my space suit"

I vote that we have secret camera's, I mean then we can get another reality TV series this summer other than big bother and D list celebrity get me out of here.

I'm worried that some journalists will take a convoy and go seek them out... can you imagine how devastating that would be to be thrust into the public and introduced to our society that way?!

They aren't killing each other, spreading lies or living a set lifestyle based on a common preset of work, school, weekend (no concept of time) etc.

They aren't more advanced, just have more freedom than we will ever have.

graduate go hunting few days a week, do this that and the other back at camp, get jiggy with the missus, and then probably some kind of rest/worship day.
