Good morning, i have just go round to playing with my MVG board and thought i would start with my RAM (16gb 2x8GB TridantX 2400MHz).

This is my score after my initial play -

Is this right? can i push more? maybe 2600MHz? or just tighten these up?

My DRAM voltage is 1.73v, VCCSA is 1.1v, VCCIO is 1.05v.

Any thoughts or comments would be helpfull. many thanks

Yeah man!!!

The choice is your in terms of frequency.

For 2400 here is the tweaks as I see em. They are IMC dependent though.

Trident X will do LB2 at 2400 easy.

Also 246 TRFC needs to come down 96 is your friend here!!!

Other trimming to secondarys can be done in very small amounts. Leave tcKE and tWCL as they are though and I dont think you will get much change out of tWR either.

There is a bug in efficiency score on memtweak it explained here:

http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...-efficiency-of-system-memory&country=&status=

So be mindfull of that if your judging your memory tweaks based soley on mem tweak it.

It crashes at TRFC 198. Hmmm thats no good ok. Back out the seconds to auto and tune TRFC first.

LB= Latency Boundary its a setting beneath Tras. It sets the thirds tight!!! 2 Is like a vice!!!

Looks good I prefer that seconds profile. Thirds are (LB) is more important overall than TRFC. Can TRAS not come down 25/24 then 21??? otherwise that looks good to me.

Did you try 2600mhz ??? Give that a go tuned and see where it gets you.

ok pack i will have a go when i get home and report back ;)

Iv just bought a ram cooler (air) to keep the ram cooler, can i up any of the volts for 24/7 under a cooled condition?

You will find the IC does not scale much past 1.75v anyway.

I am not gonna tell you that 1.75v is safe for 24/7 mate thats your call.

Would I do it? yes I would.
