Got the AMD 550 Black edition off a mate, I enable ACC in the bios but it never seems to unlock despite it working on another board. Seeing as my board only handles 95w, when it unlocks, it requires 125w. Would that stop the 2 extra cores being enabled. Cpu-z updates to X4 tho it says 2 cores...

At the moment I've overclocked it as 2 cores to this. Wondering if it sounds fine?

Mobo wont let me go above 95w grrr! No wonder eh! I'm playing with overclocks so far, from 3.1ghz to 3.77, running prime hitting 45c load temp on a £13 cooler lol.. Want 4 cores tho

if the cpuz shows that its an X4 then that should be a successful unlock, i believe in that situation you need to go to msconfig and set one of the options (believe its 'number of processors' or something to that description) so that windows recognises all four cores. At the moment, windows is used to two so despite being presented with four, its sticking with two untill you tell it otherwise. You'll have to google for more precise info as im a little rusty on unlocking.

However, personally i would not risk it if your board is only rated for 95w. Its rated like that for a reason...
My mate said something similar, however would that affect cpu-z, dxdiag and task manager?
