Trifire with one card in 4x?

Multi card setups more worthwhile now that moving to custom water.

Currently got 1.5 cards under water (one under custom and one under kraken g10 + Corsair h110.

Will be moving the g10 card into my custom loop, but was just wondering if would be feasible putting a third in the 4x slot...

Probably not worth it tbh.
I did have 3x290's in an x8,x8,x4 board briefly, but I can't remember how well they did unfortunately as the board had issues...

What res are you at?

5760x1080 Eyefinity.

Won't be any time in immediate future but prices of 290s dropping nicely now.

How do your two cards do at the moment with that res?

Pretty decently actually.

Don't have much time for more than the odd quick round of bf4, but if I max that (apart from post aa) I can generally maintain over 60 fps.
