just wondering which boards support this as im looking at upgrading and this is an option but really want to know which boards support it to know which socket cpu i am limited to, and whether it would be budgetable.

The board I just bought today does. GA-X58A-UD7.

Actually, I think it supports Quad-fire. Expansion slots: 4x PCIe 2.0 x16 Slots

cheers for that, looks like a nice board, and in the socket i was hoping for, price for it aint too bad either
