TRIGKEY mini PC

Looks like it's just rebranded Beelink PCs? Beelink themselves are maybe just using generic chassis though, I'm not sure.
I'd seen some poor reviews for the older Beelink mini-PCs but the newer ones have actually seemed alright.

For me, I'd just get a NUC/Minisforum or Asus PN.

The MeLe ones are better IIRC - though probably mostly the same thing with just a slightly different case. Though a fair bit depends on your requirements.

I quite fancy a small, decent PC that doesnt break the bank. Some gaming but mainly day to day stuff.

These look great but i am out of my depth when it comes to knowing if they are worth buying.

To build a decent ITX system from scratch is quite expensive so, when i saw the Trigkey and its price i was blown away!

I really don't like how the USB ports are flipped on the front on these mini PCs, not really an issue for most people, but for those who use USB-A YubiKeys, it means the button is on the bottom instead of on the top.

J4125 is like core 2 quad era performance - a bit better for some stuff - fine for desktop use but will struggle with anything other than older games especially without a discrete GPU. Some have a slightly newer 5000 series Intel low power CPU which is around 50% faster IIRC.

Nice thing is the low power - usually under 10 watt in normal use and 2-3 watt idle.

They'll do fine for older games, but anything remotely graphic intensive released in the last 5 years or so will be single digit frame rates at 720p.

For desktop tasks does fairly well unless you start doing high resolution video encoding or working with large datasets, etc. the N5105 or similar based devices are around 50% or more faster but still won't do much better for gaming.

Haven't got an updated picture to hand but I'm using a J4125 based device for managing a low power backup solution and gave it a bit of a whirl on other tasks to see how it stood up (with the impending electricity cost increases I'm contemplating moving my main backup setup to a similar device as it seems perfectly capable of it and uses about 1/10th the power of my main setup).

I recently got one of these makes from the rainforest on a deal (Intel N5100, 8GB ram, 128 GB ssd) and its perfect for my needs (browse websites, Youtube, videos, social media etc) as I hardly game anymore and my game pc draws 144W of power on idle and normal usage whereas this this draws 10W idle and 15W on full load

I've got the similar looking Bee-link U59 on order.£199 for 16gig ram / 500 gig ssd.Windows 11 pre-installed.
Reviews are good

I just bought a Trigkey last week - first page of the manual/booklet says "Thank you for buying BeeLink", so I'm guessing they are the same company

Nice package though, seems a little smaller than my existing NUC and seems to run very well so far

Ah interesting.

I found BeeLink is a brand owned by SHENZHEN AZW TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD, found the owner website mentioned they owned BeeLink brand.

it did not mentioned they owned Trigkey brand so I searched brand database found they actually owned Trigkey and BeeLink brands.

Interesting indeed.

Odd that they have two companies that seem to be targeting the same products in the same price range, would have thought they would try to target different areas. Or maybe they are starting Trigkey off with the same products to build reputation before adjusting their market target?

I recently got a larkbox X similar spec to the trigkey mentioned above except 12gb ram not 16gb and only £107 delivered in black friday sale. Turned it into a plex machine and it eats 4k for breakfast!
