Trine bug?

Anyone had this Trine bug before? My character will be walking along the level and then suddenly it will turn backwards and start walking backwards as if it's trying to target something.

I've only had this bug on a certain level, it's pretty much ruined the game because as your character is facing backwards it's impossible to jump onto other obstacles.

Anyone know how to fix this?

weird.. I completed it recently, and it was practically bug free for me

I had it once, but fixed it by exiting and restarting the game and carrying on from last check point.

Sorry to hijack, but considering trying the game out - is it it good? I used to love old platformers back in the day...

Yeah it's a great game, quite a bit of fun. It's a nice change.

It's a shame because I was loving it until I got this bug, I've tried everything to fix it but it seems unfixable and I really can't be bothered to start from the beginning.

It's just happened to me tonight

On the first level where you go underwater to reach the checkpoint, jumped out of the water, hopped up past the spikes and I start going backwards...it's a blooming nightmare.

I haven't restarted again yet, hopefully when I go back in it'll have corrected itself.

I think I've sorted the problem now. Were you taking screenshots with Fraps by any chance and pressing F10? I did a Google, and in trine when you press F10 is disables all AI and messes the game up.

So, just don't press F10 and you should be ok. It's working fine for me now.

Nope I wasn't using Fraps and as far as I know I didn't press F10...but my German Shepherd puppy might have who has spent half the evening lunging over the keyboard at me, the perils of playing on the sofa lol.

I'll keep that tip in mind though, thanks for letting me know!

I was taking screenshots with FRAPS when it happened to me, so at least it explains why it happend in my case.
