Hi, Just finished a build for a mate with this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-330-AM&groupid=701&catid=1967&subcat=1946
And I am a bit alarmed at the high idle and load temps, Basically it runs 46c idle and 75c under gaming load (bioshock infinite), This seems a bit high and was thinking that the stock cooler is probably not very good....still with everything at stock and no overclocking, Surely it should be more cooler than it is? Air flow is reasonable though not brilliant but even that should not produce these high temps alone.

Has anyone had any experience of the stock cooler for the x4 750k, Are they notorious for higher temps or is it the cpu itself. Any help would be appreciated.

If the cooler is a POS I will get it changed but what would be a good low cost, low profile (has a small case) heatsink to replace the stock one with?

stock cooler shouldny give u that high temps without any sort of oc. i would prob say remove heatsink clean and reapply TIM see how u get on. my boyfriends mate has that exact cpu as you and he idles at 23c iirc and maxes out at something like 56c

Cheers for the advice, I will check it out later when I see him, Though I did double check it when I installed it but will check just to rule it out.
