Me and a few mates are making our first visit to a race weekend to watch the GT3 and F3 at Oulton Park, camping over the weekend too. Does anyone have any advice or tips where to watch, what to bring and where to go during the whole weekend? We're all complete novices! :p

Definitely go and watch down at Knickerbrook Corner it's a pretty popular spot so if you want to get down the front better to get there early!

Just bring your typical camping gear, the showers there are pretty decent bit of a walk if you're the far end of the camp site, not too bad though!

There isn't really a supermarket or anything within easy walking distance so make sure to stock up on food and drink etc. unless you are willing to drive of course.

As already stated Knickerbrook is a good place to go; there’s a footbridge at the top of the hill just after it so you can get to both sides. I normally go on the infield just around the corner from Knickerbrook looking onto Cascades. It allows you a good view of Cascades down the long straight towards Shell Oils then as they come back over the hill towards the Chicane just before Knickerbrook. Quite far away from the track but you can see a decent amount of it :)

I'm off to this again for the Monday after visiting last year. If you don't mind standing to watch then you can see pretty easily from even the busiest areas as the spectator areas are generally all banked surfaces.

Debating bringing some chairs mind you, it got a little tiring being on my feet all day last year, but I have infield parking this year so can easily pop back to the car etc.
