Trip to Miami in May

I am heading to Miami in May for 7 days get some decent sun (I hope).

I already have an hotel reserved at Miami beach for about £950. But does anyone have any better places to stay?

We went to Miami Beach back in 2018, we stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel which was booked by the travel agent. It was really nice.

We've stayed a couple of times in the Hilton Bentley. It's at the very start (i.e. the quiet end) of Ocean drive, corner of 1st street. THey have their own section of beach and with beds/parasols and beach service. Also a smallish pool and a pretty decent greek restaurant that opens out onto it, its a separate business but charges to the room, and that's where you get breakfast.

25 min walk gets you to the action part of Ocean drive.

Hire a car / Motorbike and take the drive down to Keywest and spend either a Friday or Saturday night down their.

Its like a posh Blackpool with everyone trashed around half 11, mucho fun Not much else to see really, the Little Whitehouse, Hemingway's house and old battleship you can walk around and of course a key lime pie or Ice cream.

I did this. Flew into Miami, then stayed at fort lauderdale and key west. Def need a car. I loved it there.
