Recently went to Rome with my girlfriend, and she took her digital cam. Definitely nowhere near professional, added to the fact that we didn't have a tripod and weren't allowed to use a flash at all. In the end she took 700 photos (!) and because of the conditions mentionned, at least half of them are blurry :(

Here is one that i was seriously impressed by. Taken in St. Peter's Basillica in the Vatican at about 9 in the morning.

Tried to do some HDR-ing with it to bring out the suns rays, and if it looks blurry that might be the photo itself or the serious amount of compressing i had to do to get it to a good size!

This is my first post here, and its not really my photo and i didnt do that much to it but i thought it was an amazing shot, really dramatic that it had to be shared!

I was under the impression that a lot of the 'important' buildings in the vatican had no camera rules?!

They have a no flash rule, except the Sistine Chapel and we dont have any photos of that.

Great city though, my feet will never forgive me the amount of walking i had to do!
