Which is best for Asus Maximus iv extreme MOBO ?

It depends on how much memory you will be needing.

I would stick with dual or quad channel memory as triple channel memory is ideally used for X58 systems as these have triple channel memory controllers on the cpu.

The RAM itself isn't triple channel it's just sold in packs of 3 for processors with a triple channel memory controller.

Putting 3 sticks of RAM in your motherboard doesn't make it triple channel.

Similarly using 4 sticks doesn't make it quad channel.

As the processors used in your motherboard have a dual channel memory controller you want to use 2 or 4 sticks of RAM.
