Triple Core worth it?

I have an AMD 6400 and was wondering if a move to an AMD triple core CPU would be worth it? Don't want to change mobo so staying with AMD is my only option.

Would i notice any benefits moving from the dual core to a triple core?

triple core is not much cheaper than quad so not.
And if you do any video/graphic/music editing/rendering then grab a quad, otherwise stick with dual.

For the price difference, you may as well go Quadcore and future proof yourself a bit.

Some AM2 Motherboards can be Bios Flashed to recognise AM2+ CPU, the M2N SLi Deluxe is one of them

This is why I was asking the OP which motherboard he had, to make sure that if it was an AM2 Board it can take AM2+ CPUs.
