triple GPU cooling

Hi,

I didn't really know which forum to put this question because it to do with GPUs but it is also to do with cooling.

I am setting up a new system which will be used for 3D rendering. As a result it will have multiple GPUs. At the moment I have 2 GPUs, a 8800GTS and a 460GTX. The 460 is used for rendering whilst the 8800 simply drives the 2 monitors. When the system is rendering, the 460 is working at 100% for hours on end and as a result the fans are also running at 100%. This means that the PC is very LOUD. My new system is have at least 1 additional GPU which will aid rendering but will make the system even LOUDER. So I am wondering if anyone had a solution?

I'd been considering water cooling but after spending a week doing research I have reached a couple of conclusions. Water cooling is expensive and water cooling isn't really available. Before someone jumps on that let me explain. I looked at external coolers under the belief that this would be the east solution but from what I can see most of the external water coolers are no longer available (Zalman reserator XT being an example). So I thought that I'd look at internal systems. I currently have a midi ATX case. So I'd need to buy a new case with extra vents. Most modern cases look horrible. The ones that do not look horrible are around £200+ Now I come to the third and largest problem. This comes in 2 parts. 1. I'm not sure there is a system out there which can cool a CPU and 3 GPUs and 2. If there was, it would cost around £400 by the time I'd bought all the blocks.

I'd love to hear anyone's views on this. If there are water cooling solutions out there which won't cost me a months salary then I'd love to hear about them. Alternatively if anyone knows of a cheaper way of cooling/quieting GPUs then I'd love to hear that also.

Cheers
