So I was considering a single large monitor, but I'm not certain. I'm concerned that there may be too much vertical space and not enough horizontal on the screen.

So I'd also like to consider a triple monitor setup. I think it'd be 3x27 inch.

I'd like to say I'll play games on it but I really haven't had time lately. I think, even if it's just kidding myself on, that I'd like to leave the door open for it so I think I'd want to consider some kind of g sync or whatever the equivalent is.

It'd mainly be used for spreadsheet/browser/trading type stuff. I'd also periodically connect my work laptop to it and I understand it can do up to 3 monitors from a dock - although I'm not sure if it can do three with that resolution, one would be fine, two would be good.

I don't know a great deal about what I want. However so far I know I want VESA (200 or 100 doesn't matter I can get a plate). I want 27 inches. I want a larger resolution than 1920x1080. I want some kind of G sync.

Other than that I don't know what I want to pay for or not. I think I'm looking at around 1K for the 3 monitors, at a rough guess. Then I'd need to get cabling and brackets etc. I'm fine with that cost and could be persuaded to go higher if I could justify the benefit in some way. Money isn't really an object, so long as I'm getting something for it then there's lots available.

So I guess what I'm asking is if there's anything I should be wary of, and what other features benefits I should be considering paying for.
