Hey guys,
So I was running a triple monitor setup on my GTX 980 (1 HDMI, 1 DVI-D, 1 HDMI to DP Active converter) and all was good.
I decided I wanted to buy a new monitor each month and upgrade my 4 year old monitors I already have so I bought an Asus VG248QE and it just arrived today. The issue here is my triple monitor setup isn't working.
I bought a new Displayport cable to go with the monitor so I would be running DP, DVI-D and HDMI but the Displayport wasn't being recognised. I then tried DVI-D, DVI and HDMI and still wasn't working, only picture I was getting was on HDMI and DVI-D (1 old monitor and Asus monitor) so I know the Asus monitor works. I then unplugged everything and tried Displayport only and no signal.
Is there some setting in the Nvidia control panel I need to change, something in the BIOS or do you think I have a broke cable/displayport connector on the Asus monitor?
Any help would be much appreciated.
