Quick question that probably has an easy answer, but I wanted to be sure.

I currently have a Dell 20", and a generic 17" monitor running off my 9800 Pro. VGA and DVI ports both in use.

Now. I want to add another 17" to the mix, so obviously need a PCI card for it.

Does it matter what make the card is? Does it need to be ATi for stability, or is there no issue in getting a nVidia?

it all depends what rig you have, do you have crossfire, sli or just a sigle card, pci express , agp there are a few things to consider mate.

as he said, he's usin a 9800pro so that'll be agp :)

all you need to do is add a pci card to run the third monitor off. install it, enabled it in display properties, jobs a gooden :) not sure if make really matters but i used to run an x800pro with an el cheapo radeon 7000 for multi monitors
