Looking at buying a triple monitor stand soon and I'm still undecided as to whether to buy the XFX or TS743A stand.

Those that have bought the cheaper TS743A, have you had to compromise with it at all? Would you still make the same decision if the XFX stand was similar money?
 
What kind of compromises are you thinking? I have been using a TS743A with 3xU2311h displays for a year or so happily enough.

Going by photos alone I think for the same money I would go for the XFX as it looks like cable retention and parts of the design are better. Prefer the base of the TS743A as it is far less imposing. They are not the same price though :)
 
When I bought mine, both stands where on view.

IMHO the TS is the better made stand.

The XFX may have more about it, ie cable routing etc and USB connectors (cable ties are only a £1)

But the plastic covers looked cheap and the stand itself didn't feel as solid.

For me even at the same price, I'd choose the TS (I bought 2 TS's)

That is very interesting then :) The pictures make it look quite good but hands on experience is obviously worth far more!

Will keep hold of mine then unless I can get a decent price!
 
I'd love a WSGF stand they look great but are a bit pricey plus the shipping costs look high, it will take three 27" in landscape with an option of a 1 over 3 config if you want to go mad :)
 
Problem with some stands esp. in this country is that they cost the same as a good monitor or a couple of normally priced ones. You need some damn good screens to justify the price or not.

Surely if they cut their prices they would get much more turnover.
 
I have the TS743A V2 (currently for sale in the members market ;)) and found it to be very stable.

You can adjust pretty much everything on the stand to really fine tune the angle your monitors sit at. Well worth it for the price compared to the XFX version!
 
Google MDM06 Tripple monitor stand. should be around £60. Also you may need to buy 2 or more additional long arms for the stand which are like £5 each. Trust me, there's no need to spend over £100 on a stand.
