Just come back from testing both bikes, so a pretty fun day. I rode the Ducati (GT model) first. Ill be honest I didn't enjoy it that much for about half of the test ride. Ill be honest my mind was in overdrive trying to think should I buy the bike or not. Plus trying to get used to the bike, I was worried it would cut out a few times when I was riding in 2nd gear and I was in low revves. Im used to my current bike (tige 800xc) where that wouldn't be a problem at all, infact I can start it up in 2nd gear and ride off. The sound it makes, is very nice, even with the stock exhaust. And going from 20-75 seemed very quick and a bit too easy without me noticing. They offered my £211 per month for 36 months with a final payment of £6000 for the ST version.
I jumped on the Tiger Explorer XC and I have to say I felt at ease and very happy riding it. The bike felt very similar to my 800xc but with better engine. The bike will cost me £154.64p per month for 36 months with a final payment of £5000. Plus I get panniers, top box and arrow exhaust.
