Of course it’s a remake. Except they took loads of trolls out in the wilderness of varying sizes and forms and in an incredible writing decision, turned it into one big troll who it seems rampages in a city w/against the military. 10/10 for originality.

My mother rented us Troll form the video shop when we were kids. Thought it was a kids movie. Absolutely traumatised me in a way no other 80's horror did, I haven't watched it since even though its likely embarrassingly bad. Wont be watching this either!!

In my experience, stuff that was made by other people and simply distributed by Netflix, tends to be good stuff. See Dark, for example.

This movie was made by Norwegians, so I expect it to be decent.

Yeah I don't watch NF anymore, too many services but when I did, NF films were dire. I think Blight was the only one I did enjoy! Hopefully this will be good though as I love a good monster flick and I loved Godzilla '98.

Just watched it, slow start and the officials were just plain stupid. Should have had a few more trolls and poor ending.

I enjoyed it. Wonder if people watched and paid attention to the subs though, because it is explained why there is only one.

SFX was 10/10 as was the sound.

I got half way through yesterday and don't think I will bother watching the rest. As you say, it suffers from the usual stupid officials that so many films and series have nowadays.
