Hi all,
Thought I'd see how other people feel about these. How much of a Trophy Whore are you?
I'd never really paid much attention to them when gaming on PC, and it'd not bother me if I was only 1 trophy away from 100% on a game's Steam Achievement list (One of my games has been 1 off for a few years now, can't be bothered to do it!).
Taking the plunge into console gaming seems to have changed this a bit for me now. I'm on my 3rd platinum now, trying to ding my 4th (Heavy Rain). I find if I'm playing a game at the same time as a friend I'll get a bit competitive and try to stay ahead of them.
I think I draw the line at games like Uncharted where you end up having to play the game a couple of times, usually on a difficulty that is frustrating and generally not fun for me.
Some players have hundreds or even over 1000 Platinums - how on earth did they find the time to do all that!
