I'm having a bit of trouble bleeding the air out of my loop. Been running the system for a good couple hours now and it is dead quiet.

However, when pump is shut off there is an air pocket in the tubing right by the barbs of the upper radiator. No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of this air pocket! Any advice?

Turn the pump to 5 and turn it of and turn it on again quickly, the pressure of the d5 in full will force it out,if that dosent work then shake the tubing or rad or pump bit not to vigrasly

Secure the pump and reservoir and rotate the whole case. (bottom-front-top-back and then bottom-side-top-side) Giving it a bump as you move it will help to dislodge the air pockets.

I was thinking this actually but it would be a right hassle to do. I'll give it a go though :)

If you get the rotation right, the air will flow to the highest point so you can persuade most it around the system. I've got exactly the same pump/res combo and the biggest problem i had was that the reservoir has that tube on the return that directs flow towards the pump inlet meaning that at setting 5 the air you get back to the reservoir goes back through the pump and around the system again. It took me about 6 hours to bleed my system after adding a second radiator.
