Trouble Booting up

I have an Overclockers Ultima system Intel core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU 2.4GHz overclocked to 3.4GHz.
It is just under 18 months old and has just recently been difficult to boot up, fans all start but screen stays blank, turning power off usually helps or letting it run for a while then resetting.
Once it is running, no problems all day.
Any ideas anyone?

3.4Ghz sounds like it might be pushing it a bit, but then I suppose it's up to the setup, and of OC did it it should be fine.

Have you changed anything since you bought it from OC? If not, give them a call as it must be something to do with the supplied devices, if you have, what have you changed hardware and BIOS wise?

Haven't changed a thing since I bought it...might give OC a ring, not sure what information they will want though....

When it doesn't start the digital POST readout shows '0' and what looks like a '6' or small 'b' back to front, what's that all about...can't find any reference to it in the POST code definitions..

Thanks for that Chris, can't find any reference to the code 0D in the IP35 manual.

It all works fine once up and running, so could be power related on boot up, seems strange it should play up now after only 18 months, would have hoped OC put in a decent psu.

It goes into and out of hibernate okay, thought about just hibernating it overnight, not sure what the implications of that are though.

So PC finally packed up altogether wouldn't boot, so I was forced to look a bit harder for the problem, well it turns out that one of my Ballistix memory strips was faulty, running on 1GB at the moment instead of 2GB.

So need to replace either just the one, or should I be considering a DD3 memory?

I think the IP35 Pro board supports DD3, not sure what options I have or what I should be looking for, any ideas anyone?
