Hi guys

Yesterday i converted some AVI 's to VOB using SUPER so that i could watch them back on your standard DVD player.

I read up on the burning process beforehand, and apparently i need some IFO and BUP files before i create the DVD.

I'm trying to get the IFO and BUP from the VOB using IFOedit, but i dont understand it at all.

Can anyone help me out?

what was the output like from SUPER, was it in two folders, AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS (audio_ts is empty)

if so use imgburn to burn those folders to dvd, and it'll work fine

No problem, glad to help.

I'm not familiar with SUPER, but you should be able to convert your AVI's in DVD Flick, bypassing the need to use SUPER at all.

Yes, I myself use ConvertXtoDVD

DVD Video Disks need a VIDEO_TS Folder at least, and inside there, there will be at least 3 files as a minimum... These might be

VIDEO_TS .IFO / .BUP / .VOB

Without those as a minimum, the disk wont work.

A vob is just a container, for a DVD you need the full structure so you need authoring software. TMPGEnc DVD Author, one app in the Nero suite etc. ConvertXtoDVD works as well, handy application.
Get your VIDEO_TS folder and burn with IMGBurn in build mode.
