Argh, I've read many posts but feel no further forward on a monitor to choose. It'll be paired with a 3080 eventually. I like the idea of a curved screen but for the budget this probably excludes. 4k screen.

So, budget up to £1k, I’m looking for something between 30-35”. Ideally curved. Will I truly feel like I’m missing out if it’s not 4K?

For context, I’m currently using an aoc g2460pf.

What would the good folk of this forum recommend?
Must I go 4K, if so, what’s good that is curved/non-curved?
Is g-sync a must have? (I’ll never ever switch to Radeon)

Thanks!

Buy an Alienware AW3420DW. At the moment they are silly cheap. You can get one for 829.00 plus various discounts if you can find them that may knock off anything up to another £150. About a year ago they where £1100.

Mine just got delivered, I paid £746 and I didn't get the AMEX discount that's currently knocking about. The curve might take me a wee while to get used to but it's built like a tank.
