Trouble clocking memory on 8800GTS

I'm having trouble overclocking my 8800GTS with Rivatuner, i've managed to set the core clock speed to 630 but the memory won't go over 958, I get the error message below. Anybody any idea how to get around this?

Try it setting it using ATI Tool first.

Try that, it doesnt even test the settings, just apply them

TBH I'm a bit confused. The EVGA superclocked version is advertised at 575/1700 - yet in rivatuner the slider doesn't even go past 1275 for memory. Am I missing something ???

Its DDR Ram (Double Data Rate), You double it.

So 1000mhz = 2000mhz
