Hey

Maybe a long shot but just wondering if anybody can help solve a problem.

To cut a long story short Ive been trying to set up two Routers in a single household. Got everything setup and was receiving an IP conflict, had a fiddle about and this is the steps I took bearing in mind im no network expert!

- logged into router via IE (192.168.2.1)
- went to LAN settings
- I changed the standard ip address from 192.168.2.1 to 172.18.2.2 (dont ask why!?) and also disabled DHCP.
- restarted router

Now the problem im having is trying to log back into the router via IE as before, wont connect with either of the above ip address. Also before the change I was getting LAN connectivity to the PC and everything, but now it wont acquire a network address and wont connect to even the lan.

It obviously is to do with me changing the settings!!

If I could get back into the router I will be okay, its just getting into it!

Anybody know? Real stuck here :(

Hi

Ive stuck a needle down the reset the button to no avail im afraid. Will try again but any other suggestions?

Righto I just clicked the reset button once, I will try holding it down.

How do you mean set myself an ip address? You mean through network connections?

Ta :)
