Trouble Deciding Upgrade

Hi there i currenty have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 280 and looking to upgrade as this card is somewhat 3 years old now.
Im just not sure on what to upgrade to i want to stay with nvidia i was looking at the 570 series maybe as i want to give my graphics a big boost just whould like to know what whould you upgrade to from a gtx 280

Every one is going to point you towards the GTX 480 SOC.

At £250 for a card near GTX 580 performance is nice.

Your other option is probably a 6950 flashable to 6970.

Whats the rest of you pc and whats your price range?

my price range is from £250 - £350 and the rest of my system is

Intel core i7- 940 processor
14gb 667Mhz Ram
Asus Deluxe 6PT motherboard

and a 800w PSU

I personally like my gpu's venting hot air out of the case instead of internally.

However, if you have decent cooling and the room you game in doesnt get too hot, the 480 is nice.

Better performance than the 570 and it has that little bit extra ram on it.
