Hello.

Does a new (not second hand, refurbished, etc) monitor with the following specs not exist anymore?

2560x1600
At least 27 inches (actual viewable screen)
Flat, not curved.
As least 'wide' as possible. I prefer my monitors to have a good height.
No gaming, just viewing video, etc. I am aware that 16:9 is recommended for video, but my current monitors are 16:10 (1920x1200).
A good viewing angle (horizontal AND vertical) is a bonus but not sure if that means LCD or LED. A simple search on the web for 'difference between LCD and LED' proved useless as some websites claimed LCD offered better viewing angles whilst some claimed LED offered better viewing angles! Some didn't even cover the aspect!
This is my current graphics card.

I am not holding my breath! Haha.

Thank you.

I thought as much! Haha.

So plan B would be to consider a 2560x1440 monitor. I have had a search and found a very suitable one, but unfortunately it seems to have been sold out EVERYWHERE! I think it's from 2024, so I don't think I'll find one anywhere.

It's the Gigabyte GS32Q-EK.

I'll try to find something similar.

Hello. I thought the Gigabyte was higher than it was, but seems there isn't any shortage of monitors that are the same size as the Gigabyte, so I think I might reduce my budget. Previously, I didn't want to spend any more than £250 per monitor but I'm sure my requirements could be met for a LOT less than this!

I forgot to add a reputable brand to my list of requirements.

This may be a really stupid question, but are there any 2560x1440 monitors that have a more squarer than wide shape or will they all be more or less the same height and width, for example, most 32" monitors seem to be around 70x39 cm (viewable area).

it's hard to say as you're hardly forthcoming
No gaming, just viewing video, etc.
By 'etc', I meant general use (Internet, YouTube/video).

Dell Ultrasharp is WAY too expensive!

I did find the DualUp monitor during my search but even if it were still available, it would also be WAY over my budget.

I don't have much time for research as my monitors could fail any day now.

I have decided to go for LG 32U631A-B and hope that my graphics card (GTX 460) can handle it without any problems. The maximum resolution of the card is 2560x1600 so that shouldn't be a problem but not sure about the refresh rate/FPS aspect as the manual and online info about the card really does not provide any relevant details!

Thank you all for taking the time to assist.

Hello mid_gen.

Refurbished, Grade A, 12 months warranty, free next day delivery, under £280 each AND the quantity I required (two) available at an unspecified auction site!

Have already purchased the ones I mentioned though, but could have been tempted!

There was also 3 x Gigabyte M32Q 31.5 Inch for less than £450, but sold now. Not 1600 resolution though.
