I used have a logitech bluetooth USB adapter which was working, but failed. So I bought an MSI star Key installed the software etc.

However I just get un reconised USB adapter, I have tryed it in all my USB's slots but to no avail.

I have reloaded drivers, several times. but all to no avail, I suspect that there is some logitech software lurking still, even though I have removed it and gone through registry.

any ideas anyone

I had a lot of problems using bluetooth. I found that I had to completely uninstall the drivers and software, reinstall it - and then stick my dongle in. Only when I did things in that order could I get it to work....

not one of these cheap blue soleil ones is it, they are an absolute nightmare to get working on some machines

already tryed that, i think i have old logitech stuff that is messing things up. i have removed stuff from registry. but so far no joy.

the dongle works on other computers, and other usb devices work on the computer i trying to get the bluetooth to work on.

well i know when i had a belkin bluetooth dongle i had a lot of problems with the drivers for it. what it came to was acctually just using the microsoft drivers from win xp, plug it in then do a custom windows update and hardware updates hopefully it will pick up the correct drivers to run the dongle. hope that helps a bit.

getting frustrated with this now stupid dongle  , plugged it into a laptop at work, no problems at all, I then plug it into another identical desktop dell 9150 get the same error messages.......

i am probably missing something really silly.
