Hi,

I have a dell Perc 6/i I cannot get in to the BIOS of. I am now trying to access it via the LSI software (megaraid) downloaded from their site.

When I come to install I am getting this error;

Code:
[root@Nas disk]# ./install.sh -a

I also get the following popping up from time to time.

Code:
./popup_bin: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have been searching around trying to install the missing dependencies but just do not be able to find what is required.

Any suggestions please ?

Thanks

To start you off:

32bit : http://pkgs.org/fedora-14/fedora-i386/libpng-1.2.44-1.fc14.i686.rpm.html
64bit : http://pkgs.org/fedora-14/fedora-x86_64/libpng-1.2.44-1.fc14.x86_64.rpm.html

This should fulfil the libpng12.so.0 error. You are probably best installing it through fedoras built in package manager. Search for libpng.

I believe if this doesn't work then it means that the files in megaRAID storage manager have been statically linked and point to somewhere other than where fedora stores libraries (i think...).

EDIT: For the second set of errors I would install:

yum install compat-libstdc++-33

while you're at it you may as well do them both at once:

yum install compat-libstdc++-33 libpng
